Virtual Training

A+ College Ready E3 Training provides educators with content-based, pedagogy-driven, teacher-to-teacher training, designed to Equip teachers with the methods, tools, and resources needed to Empower students to be engaged and motivated learners so that we may Expect More for education in Alabama! The curricula and strategies covered in this modified four-day training have been designed to increase rigor in the classroom for all students. Attendance at this training will meet a program/pipeline/MSTIP school teacher's requirement for Year 1 training and make him/her eligible for a 2020-21 Letter of Agreement (LOA). Teachers who attend this training event will receive:

• Specialized training designed by expert educators for teachers of any level.
• Full access to rigorous classroom-ready lessons.
• Vertical alignment across grade levels.
• Ongoing support from expert educators.

NOTICE

In order to receive credit for this training (and be eligible for an LOA if a pipeline/program/MSTIP teacher), teachers must do the following:

• Review the Module 0 prior to August 22, 2020 and complete The New Art and Science of Teaching Module (4 assignments) by 10:00 a.m. on November 21, 2020.
• Attend virtual training sessions on Saturday, August 22 and November 14 from 8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. CST.
• Attend virtual check-points during the weeks of August 24-28th and November 16-20th; check-points will be on different days after school for no more than three hours at a time.
• Submit assignments due on August 29th and November 21st by 10:00 A.M. CST on each of those dates.

Attendance at ALL synchronous meetings and SUCCESSFUL completion of all assignments are required in order to earn LOA eligibility, to access program benefits from A+CR, and to be awarded credit hours in PowerSchool. Partial credit will not be awarded.
